Unified Academy (formerly Chart Wood School) is a special school located in Surrey.

Staff across our schools are encouraged to fulfil their own potential by engaging in ongoing training, mentoring and support in order to achieve the highest standards.

All staff at Unified Academy are supported with regular CPD opportunities to enable them to develop their skills to be able to better support our students both educationally and socially.

Teaching Assistant (Pastoral Support) (Scale PS5, £18,625 to £20,559 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, (FTE £21,751 to £24,010 per annum))

Location: Unified Academy, Chart Lane South, Dorking, RH5 4DB Hours: 36 hours per week, Term Time only

We are seeking team members with drive and enthusiasm to work as Pastoral Support Teaching Assistants to work as part of our Pastoral Team.

Teaching Assistant (Class Based) (Scale PS4, £16,451 - £18,171 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, (FTE £19,212 - £21,221 per annum))

Location: Unified Academy, Chart Lane South, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 4DB Hours: 36 hours per week, Term time only

We are looking for Teaching Assistants with drive and creativity to work under the guidance of teaching staff to support learners to make exceptional progress in all aspects of school life.

My son joined Unified Academy in September 2020 and it is the best educational setting for him.  As a parent, I was apprehensive about my son attending a new place, but the experience for him has been fantastic. Having had a tough time in previous schools, his attitude to attending school has been difficult. Unified Academy has changed his attitude towards school and that is thanks to the positivity of all the staff.  My son finally feels accepted and that is a great weight off my shoulders!
