Students reach new heights at climbing centre

A group of students have been scaling new heights each week thanks to exciting rock climbing sessions held at the Blue Spider Climbing Centre in Guildford.

During these weekly sessions, students take part in a range of climbing activities, including roped climbs of up to 10 metres, bouldering over specialist crash mats and low‑level traversing challenges. Each activity is delivered under the expert guidance of experienced instructors, ensuring students are supported, safe and able to push themselves at a comfortable pace.

The sessions strengthen students’ physical skills but also provide a confidence boost. The combination of physical activity, teamwork and personal challenge has made these sessions a firm favourite within the school’s enrichment programme.
