Students explore local history at Dorking Museum
Students enjoyed a fun and engaging visit to Dorking Museum as part of their personal development programme. Dorking Museum is a small local museum which tells the story of Dorking and the surrounding area from Cretaceous times to the present day with displays and interactive elements.
The students explored a range of artefacts, including a penny farthing bicycle and an old typewriter, gaining valuable insight into the area’s heritage. The students enjoyed trying on historic clothing and hats and thoroughly enjoyed their trip and learning about the history of the local area.
