Students Bring Creativity to Life with New 3D Printer
We are excited to announce a new addition to our school’s technology resources: a 3D printer. The device creates three-dimensional objects from digital designs by layering materials one step at a time- – a process known as 3D printing.
Since its arrival, the 3D printer has sparked enthusiasm among students, particularly during Personal Development sessions. Students have been designing and printing their own models, turning imagination into reality.
One thoughtful Year 7 student requested to print a model of a red Ferrari to cheer up his Grandad, who is currently in hospital. Another creative student designed a unicorn, which he presented to Principal, Belle Thomas who proudly displays the model in her office, showcasing the meaningful and imaginative work being done.
The 3D printer has already begun to make a positive impact – not only through digital innovation but through the kind-hearted intentions of our students.
