Meet Pretzel: A new fluffy friend at Unified Academy

Unified Academy’s ever‑growing collection of animals has welcomed a  special new member – a rabbit named Pretzel.

Pretzel is a friendly house rabbit and has already settled into life at the school, where he will be exploring the Key Stage 2 classroom. With his gentle nature and curious personality, he is quickly becoming a favourite among students and staff alike.

Pretzel loves carrots and enjoys the occasional hug. Students are encouraged to spend time with him as part of the therapeutic offer at Unified Academy.

For those students who wish to get involved, they can help care for Pretzel with his grooming routine, feeding him and finding ways to entertain him. Rabbits are known to learn tricks so we shall see what the students can teach him!

As with all animals onsite, the appropriate risk assessment has been completed and animal safety practices have been discussed to ensure the wellbeing of both the students and Pretzel. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Kirsty Steel.
