We strive for our students to leave us as well-rounded, confident adults with high aspirations for their future. So we were pleased to welcome Careers Adviser, Catherine Young from the Education Development Trust who offered students careers advice during lessons, appointments at school, home visits, off-site visits and virtual appointments. This flexible and accessible approach benefited the students and their parents/carers who have been able to get involved with the meetings. Our increased focus on careers has provided students with the ability to see colleges, engage with employers and learn important skills that will enable transitions to college and/or employment. These engagements and interactions are so important for all students, particularly those in Year 11 who have action plans for their next steps.
