A bright future
A recent article in the Surrey Mirror highlighted positive changes for the future for Chart Wood School. The school is putting its best foot forward with its new Principal Graham Payne and a new head of care, designated safeguarding lead and new governing body.
Graham was quoted in the article saying:
“My priority is the safeguarding, well-being and education of our pupils and to ensure all staff are fully supported to achieve…” said Mr Payne. “From my experiences thus far in the role, I am confident that we will make the necessary progress to improve the outcomes for our pupils and I look forward to working closely with the young people, Orchard Hill College Academy Trust, the governors, school staff, parents and Surrey County Council to this end.”
Graham went on to say “with a comprehensive new governing body, the support of the academy trust, and staff “who really care about the outcomes and life chances of the boys that come here”, the school has a “good foundation”.
